Nurturing Paths School Readiness Program
School readiness includes the readiness of the individual child and the ability of the family to support optimal child development. SRP focuses on classroom skill specific training of the kids to empower them to integrate in the mainstream school. With each observation the goal is to track – What the child can do and consider what the child has the potential to do.
The key objective is to enhance social skills and make the child ready for learning in a group environment..
Each child is given two individual therapy sessions of 45 minutes each and 1 hour of small group intervention daily. Each group comprises 2-6 learners.
Learner placement is dependent on age, social and cognitive functioning level, prevalence and topography of inappropriate behavior(s), and availability. Learners must meet specific prerequisite requirements before being placed in a group.
The sessions are conducted by our expert team consisting of Occupational therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech therapist, Special educators and play school teachers. It is a 5 days a week comprehensive program with IEP for each child.
The School Readiness Program runs from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
